Cashmere Colour Trends Autumn Winter 2021

By the time August comes around, here at Cashmere and Cotton we usually cannot wait for jumper season and the cool, crisp weather it brings. While we enjoy the last weeks of the famously unpredictable British summer, we are looking forward to reaching for our cosiest cashmere cardigans, jumpers and wraps in seasonal colours that make us feel good.

Spring and summer might call for brights, pastels, and strong tones, but autumn and winter have a style all their own which is earthier and more grounded. We are expecting to see a lot of rich, natural colours this autumn and winter, but there are a few predicted colour trends coming up for autumn and winter 2021 that might surprise you.

Pink

Pink Cashmere Jumper

While you might usually associate pink with warmer weather, it really comes into its own when worn against the backdrop of autumnal colours. All shades of pink, from the softest baby pink to the deepest magenta, are perfect for your autumn and winter wardrobes and will give your look a modern twist while helping you stand out from the crowd.

Blue

The most classic and ageless of shades and one of our all time favourite colours, luxury cashmere pieces in shades of blue are the perfect remedy to our often more muted seasonal wardrobes. The return of our brighter ocean blue will be welcomed by many and for the classic winter wardrobe, you simply cannot go wrong with navy, a colour which transends seasons and a firm staple of any wardrobe, from Spring to the deepest winter.

Orange

If you are someone who struggles to let go of the summer sunshine then copper tones in cashmere will warm up your wardrobe this autumn and winter. Deep ochre is an excellent choice as it is autumnal but is much more radiant than other colours associated with the season such as grey, black, brown, and dark green. Our marled copper glow will make your outfit pop, and is also a great choice for accessorising your neutral toned cashmere wardrobe staples to give a more dynamic look.

Green

Green is one of the few colours that is perfect for every season, reminding us of lush tropical foliage as well as winter evergreens and holly leaves. Highly wearable and flattering for every skin tone, luxury cashmere in shades of green is something we are going to see a lot of this year. From muted olive to deep, rich emerald, green is a versatile colour that can elevate your look.

Neutrals

Neutral Cashmere

Always a classic, luxury cashmere jumpers in neutral tones are a wardrobe staple for autumn and winter and can be used to create capsule looks that can be dressed up or down and perfect for the party season. A dark charcoal cashmere jumper can take you from the office to the party with just a couple of accessories, and will go with anything. Camel is another neutral tone we are expecting to see return this year, but this classic colour never seems to date and is perfect for year-round wear. Neutrals are the perfect choice for those looking for versatility and elegance from their cashmere.
